During our stay at 29 Madeira, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The location of the hostel was also great, just a few streets from the harbour and easily accessible by the airport bus. The basic breakfast allowed us to try the delicious bakeries in the city. we had a lovely time and would recommend this hostel.

The level of cleanliness throughout the hostel, including the shared bathrooms and common areas, was impressive. The hostel is conveniently located within walking distance of major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. I highly recommend staying at this hostel for a great experience in Madeira.

The room we stayed in had a broken door handle, but the staff at 29 Madeira Hostel were quick to respond and offered a solution to ensure our safety and security. The parking option for 4 euros per day was convenient and saved us the hassle of finding parking elsewhere. They also provided lockable storage for our belongings, giving us peace of mind. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. we had a positive experience and would recommend this hostel.

The rooms are nice and airy with a balcony. The kitchen is well-stocked and the outdoor social space/patio is great. Free bananas from their own trees :) Great place to meet other people.

They were knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. the hostel had a well-equipped kitchen and clean showers, which were both important to me during my stay.

One major drawback of this hostel was the noise from the street. It was quite loud, especially in the early morning, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

They provided useful information about bus schedules and even helped me book a car ride for a hike. The location of the hostel was ideal, situated in the heart of the city and close to main attractions. the locker boxes were spacious and accommodated two backpacks without any issues.

The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the city center, the local market, and the port. The views from Sao Gonzalo at night were absolutely stunning. The breakfast provided was basic but fresh and tasty. The girls even prepared breakfast for me in advance when I had to leave early. I appreciated the improvements made since my last stay, such as fresh towels every few days. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hostel to other travelers.
